About The Couple

 

Desiree Hung grew up in the American Northeast, and she is a really positive and optimistic person whose very into hip-hop music and dancing in her early 20s. On stage in Miss SingTao beauty pageant competition was one of her signature. Desiree is a professional graphic designer and makeup artistry with BFA in Graphic Design. Upon graduating from Cal State Polytechnic University in Pomona, Desiree promptly began working as a part-time graphic artist then soon blossomed into full-time designer.

Chris Yung, a down to earth LA boy whose got a really low profile personality. Outsiders don’t really get to know about him unless they are really close to him. He is a kind and caring person which helps any of his friends with never a “no” in return. After he graduated from UCR with three years working experiences, he decided to pursue a MBA degree from University of La Verne. With all his hard-work, he has finally became a entrepreneur.

How We Met

 

Desiree and Chris met through a friend from a concert show in 2007. In the following three years, they became really good friends which they went to the gym, party, and watched movies together. When the right timing happened in 2010, Chris finally shared his true feeling to Desiree and asked to be together on their first date night at Redondo Beach.

The Proposal

 

Two days after Valentine’s day in 2013, Desiree and Chris met up with a friend of Desiree at Downtown Disney for lunch. After lunch Chris and Desiree was left alone at Downtown Disney, Chris claimed that he has to use the restroom. He ditched Desiree at the big water fountain as an excuse to meet up with his buddies at a rendezvous point. Desiree had no idea that Chris had planned this a month ago. With no make ups and dressed in casual clothing with flip flops, Desiree had no clue that her life is about to change. While Desiree was playing with her cellular phone, Chris and his buddies began to march toward Desiree. When Desiree realized Chris had returned, she knew something is happening as Chris’ buddies are recording their actions. Holding a dozen of roses in his left arm and a ring on his right, Chris got down on his knee and proposed. Desiree was speechless. She then smiled and said “Yes” with tears of joy.
